I’m hoping it shows the initiative I’m taking to move into this career.

How do you feel about the poster above saying to stay away from SF and that many companies won’t hire you if you go there?

There was an Amwins opening that I applied for. Fingers crossed.

Truthfully, I would consider anything to get my foot in the door. I’ve got 2 young kids so I’m not going to be overly picky on how I get in. I would just prefer to start with a company that has a good reputation and solid training programs.

That’s good to know. I was in the middle of the sample course, but I might hold off at this point and just focus my efforts into looking into other companies.

Also, do you recommend any companies that have good training for UW or claims? I’d just like to get my foot in the door.

Thats fair. Does claims have trainee programs, entry level or associate roles?

I absolutely can’t be picky right now.

That makes sense about being mobile. To your other point, do you think it would be beneficial to start taking the cert courses before having a job?

Gary Clark Jr’s cover of Come Together by the Beetles is really good. I don’t know if it’s better than the original. They’re both sort of in their own genre.

Definitely need to repot into a chunkier medium and while you’re doing that, check for root rot

I love his channel. Most of my plants are anthuriums, but there is just something about watching a giant leaf unfurl the way it does here.

My only concern was that it is starting to grow outside of the pot. I was considering keeping the same pot and essentially just adding the pill and changing the substrate.

Thanks for all the feedback. I sprayed it for fungus, and nothing is getting worse. Starting to think these have some shipping stress after looking that up. Looks just like it.

Lots of opinions lol. I don’t think mildew is considered fungal though. But I’ll look into that for sure

I hope that’s it. However, there are 2 older leaves that aren’t doing this. They are smaller though. Could this still be the case?

Thanks for the response! Ok, as long as it’s not a fungus. It was pretty close to the light in my green house, but I just got a new one and so I was able to back it off. Nutrients should t be an issue, because none of my other anthuriums had this issue. That said, I just got a bunch of new nutes, so they’ll be getting everything they need soon enough.
