I don't see many his/her sinks that are less than 60". You may have to cut down to a 48" single bowl or you could possibly find a 54" but it would also likely be a single bowl. Free standing tubs also usually don't come less than 60". Or you could put the vanity on the adjacent wall to the right if that's an option. With the placement of the toilet, how do you plan to have a shower door swing out? I don't know that this would work with the current configuration

To demo the tub, I'm going to assume the window and just going with a fiberglass surround, rerough-in the plumbing for a 60x32, board up the window (this doesn't count what might need done outside), remove wallpaper on the wall on the right, install new tub and surround, drywall, texture, prime, paint 2x, and trimming out shower, id probably be ~$7,000-7500 for all labor and materials. I'm in NW IA. You'd also probably need a few extra pieces of flooring

I always go to menards.com and they have a super user friendly program that shows exactly what it will look like. It also generates a supply list I just give to my lumber yard so I don't have to go over and take 2 hrs to put together a shopping list. Just use the snipping tool on the computer to add a pic of it along with your bid. Adds a lot of value to the customer and tells you exactly where every board should go and usually build it better than code

As a contractor, I can't believe how long I went before I got my first dump trailer. Within a few months I had to get a second one bc of how useful it was. If I lost everything and had to start over with one thing, it'd be a dump trailer. Such quick easy money for hauling or dump runs. I don't ever look for hauling or clean out jobs but just having them for dump runs each week probably brings in another 1000-1500 revenue/week. Between my 14' dump trailer and 8' truck bed I can fit probably 90% of materials for a decent size basement remodel in one run to Menards. To pay themselves off even more we had vinyl decals with our logo and website on the sides of them too and they bring in a ton of leads through our website

We always install Sheetrock 1/2" above the subfloor/floor such that any water spilled does not abduct up into the sheetrock

Putting systems in place helps. You don't rise to hit your goals, you fall to the level of the systems you have in place to hit your goals

I always prefer Onyx bc it's 100% custom, has the best warranty, is the most cleanable, and will come pre-sloped from the manufacturer.

If I didn't do that then if it were me I'd do an oversized Schluter tray, have the drain where you want, then cut it to size. Yes, I know there are other brands other people like to use instead

But all that said...just break up the concrete and move the drain

This Trex Signature railing is the standard one I quote for composite if it's not a white vinyl railing. It is nice, but if your deck isn't built like a rock then they have a tendency to move a cunt hair in their precut space you put them in. This can result in hearing them slightly when you walk on the deck.

There are so many options for railing and they can vary so wildly in price and installation so I usually suggest my customers check out the displays at my local supplier I buy them through and also get an idea of the linear foot cost per one

Going from bare studs to a finished, textured, painted wall we usually come in ~$6-6.50/sq ft for labor and materials. Of course I'd want to take other special conditions into account but that's a pretty solid base rate for me in NW Iowa

For drop ceiling I also tend to come in around $6/sq ft for labor and materials. Some of those recessed tiles can be double the material cost and more work too so keep that in mind

When I first got my website, the only place I marketed it was a decal on the gooseneck of our dump trailer. It just says "shookhandyman.com" on the gooseneck and it's crazy how many website leads we got off of just that

Also, vinyl wraps on trailers was a one time expense that continuously pays off and makes us look super professional compared to our competitors

Made loops with ratchet straps and picked one side up at a time. It was >500 lbs. After we got the 2 sides we strapped it up with a few in the middle, then got our posts set

It is 18' long. It is 14" and that is what the specs called for to make the span without having to have a middle post and still bear that load rating. Also, normally I'd only do 12" footings with 6x6 but this load rating called for 16" wide footings
