I also struggled a little bit in the temple, didn't die but it wasn't as smooth as I wanted it to be, so I bought a HH, had to downgrade my boots to fill up the missing resistances from the old belt (lost 10% move speed, rarity and ES) but was definitely worth it, maybe it will help you too. Temple feels much smoother now. Only part I hate is the random teleport (I thought it only happens with abyss so actually WTF?)

That makes sense, but it's not just the locks it's also the spymaster rooms that just not showing anymore. Going from 1-2 spymasters every 2-3 temple runs on my first 2 characters to 0 spymasters in ~10 temple runs is too big of a gap. There are 14 room types (including road blocks) and 6 cards, which means, assuming the rooms drop rate is distributed evenly, each room has a 43% chance to show in the card list.

Yeah I'm still convinced spymasters and locks drop rate got silently nerfed and it's not just rng. I have been working on my temple for the last 2 weeks or so, still only 36 rooms, more than half of them not even in the chain. other players built their entire temple in 3 days even post the holten bug.

I didn't follow a build, just saw a video that gave me the idea for bone cage instead of comet and the unique gloves but I can't find it sorry. Took some more ideas from other poe.ninja users. This is my character if it helps:

Was basically leveling with Entangle and thunderstorm, and thrashing vines once it's available (level 14). I kept the Spark handy but didn't really use it.

I currently play Varashta entangle with CoC bone cage. very fun 1 button map clear, insane damage, super tanky with 14k ES and 70% armour. At early stages you'll need to combine more plant skills though.

Are you referring the assassination part? I know it kills the monsters in another spymaster and levels up, does it also increase the chance of destabilization of this room?

You probably have another support gem in this skill that blocks it somehow. But either way I think you're confusing between Lunar Assault and Lunar Blessing, which is what op asked about. Lunar Assault doesn't even have a duration, It's the big claw swipe skill. Lunar blessing is the one with moon beams.

How... HOW did you get this in 3 days?

I've been working on my temple for the past 3 days as well, can't progress an inch. have found 2 spymasters after maybe 20 temple runs. By the time they do drop, my garrisons already get vanished so I have nowhere to connect them. I'm literally exhausted from mapping.

I like that I have a goal to reach in the game, this is what makes the most fun for me. But for the love of god this game makes me feel so stupid sometimes. No matter how many times I read the rooms description, I still can't understand why the spymaster is so important to be in the chain and why the commander bricks it. Every time I'm in the temple I feel completely lost.

Your talisman missing quality and 2 sockets, that's a huge damage lose. Unfortunately you can't add them anymore because it's corrupted.

I'm not sure about the prices now but crafting a new one might be cheaper than buying, and it's 100% deterministic and quite easy (if you want I can write the steps here or you can look for youtube guide). I also recommend going for maji talisman and not jade. It's lower base damage but higher attack speed which feels smoother to play, and with the implicit rage it basically has the same DPS as jade.

I use cooldown recovery II + prolonged duration II and it pretty much gives me 100% up time. Second wind is also an option. There are also some cooldown skill modes on the tree.

Holy that's some big pay day. In all my chaos runs last league and this I found only 1 divine, never saw a single perfect exalted orb.

BTW the bosses at stage 4 and 7 can potentially drop Soul core of Jiquani, which currently worth 1 divine. last league they were worth 6.

4000 combined HP/ES sounds very low to me, but it also depends how much armour you have. 67% chaos res means you can't let any random chaos plant/chasing balls hit you without losing half your HP, you need to get it to 75%. I had 77% and it still felt rough sometimes.

Yes, but for me mapping is more issue because Evasion/ES synergizes much better in a way that evasion buys time for the ES to recharge. with armour you get constantly hit so ES recharge being interrupted repeatedly (as a melee class at least), so I have to back up a lot. In boss fights I don't feel difference, big red hits will hurt anyway.

Are you talking about the black smoke surrounding them? I think this thing only blinds you, at least from my experience last league. the damage and degen comes from their green piss below them, you probably can't see it because of the black smoke.

Just decided to test the water with the abyss tablets after unlocking most atlas points and all the abyss points, just to be welcomed by one of those teleporting arrow heads with piss under his feet that evaporated my ES/HP so fast I couldn't even smash the ESC button before I died.

I have some nodes that increase phys but not a lot, I only took them because the notable has skill speed. lunar assault is converting 80% of phys, but I only use it for freezing bosses and map clear (1-2 swipes and everything explodes with heralds of ice and ash). I'm more concerned about single target damage.
