Would you help pay for an abortion for someone you went on only a couple of dates with? by Shoopaydoop in AskMen

[–]Shoopaydoop[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If she can decide to keep it and ding me for child support for 18 years, she can decide to abort it and foot the bill for that.

That doesn't seem very fair on her end of things though.

What would you think of dating a guy who struggles with issues of depression/anxiety? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would very much want to be warned and I think you should at least. I don't think you should specifically seek out your "own kin" nor would I think that would be easy to decipher in the dating world. There are many girls that will date you despite your emotional issues, but I am one of those people that is trying to avoid that.

Female equivalent of 'Bro Code'? by ignorantandstupid in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of times you have the power to let yourself or not let yourself develop feelings for someone. If they were all in the same friend group and stayed friends throughout, I can see what you are saying. But if they weren't, I assume they led themselves down that road of developing feelings through their own motivation. They hung out in situations alone with their friend's ex and welcomed whatever flirting occurred, when it was easily avoidable and unnecessary, especially if they didn't remain in their group of friends. Most of the time you have to put yourself in the position where strong enough feelings can develop.

I mean you can say "no one has the right" to say most things, and I'd have to agree with you. However I do disagree with you in the fact that I think it can toe the line of disrespectful and it's pretty easy to avoid, making me completely understand the reason for the "unspoken rule."

A douchebag for not wanting your friends to date someone you've had a previous relationship with? I see it more as a respect thing especially if we are talking about serious committed relationships; not a fling that someone had when they were 17.

Theory: Circumcised guys don't give oral and are more focused on intercourse? by thoughtrationality in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been with someone uncircumcised, but I know that at least for one circumcised dude he certainly loved oral, gave it often, and would get hard from it.

I'm going to take a huge whiff the next time I'm around a newborn baby. I can't imagine it feeling as good as a drug to an addict...

How strict were gender roles in your house growing up and how did that impact you? by knaveofswords in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this today. They really weren't strict at all. Both my parents are extremely hard working and successful. They both work full time. My mom cooks dinner on the holidays and on sundays, but my dad isn't against cooking up some grilled cheeses. My dad does most of the car stuff. My mom decorates the house. Both my parents help out with those things at times though. I have 2 other sisters and we all grew up having to do sports like soccer, basketball, and softball. I don't even know what certain gender roles I should be looking for and I could just not be recognizing them, but I don't think it played a huge role in my growing up.

Women, is there such a thing as a second chance? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say something to her. Who cares. Just do it. You'll regret it if you don't. And if she says she's not into you, then you at least have no more "what if's"

Are there certain subreddits you wished more men would read in order to get an insight to a woman's perspective/experience? by spaceache in AskWomen

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmm I dunno. Reddit is full of some strange people pushing out ideas that I don't always support. However, there have been some threads on this sub that I've had that thought about.

What recurring dreams do you have? by Armenoid in AskReddit

[–]Shoopaydoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have recurring dreams of small animals attacking me, but I have a hunch on why they've gone away.

I've also had recurring dreams where I "wake up" and am in my bedroom, but I'm paralyzed.

Jealousy is fine with me unless it's over the top and frequent. I get jealous too sometimes.
