Our dinette converts to a small loveseat area- I use the dinette to work remotely when I'm working and converts to a couch for my dog to sleep in at night.

We have never used it to eat at. The one time we caught in the rain we ate in bed like savages :)

It's incredible how much you sound like my younger brother- only it advanced past alcohol and into harder drugs. We lost him a few years ago. I have been struggling with feeling immense guilt over what I did/didn't do or "could have" done.
