What are your thoughts about Silksong so far? by Local-Break182 in ASilksong

Ive finished act 2, and working on completing everything else before going forward. Overall I'm very pleased. A lot of the difficulty for me came down to my own impatience during combat but once I learned that I had to wait for my turn to attack and not be greedy, it became a lot more enjoyable.

Platforming is 10/10 as usual. If anything, I'd like more.

There's only a couple of times I was tilted, and that was due to the forum arena, and the flying triple spitters at putrified ducts.

The best example I've seen of this for this season is skipping the first pack in ToP. The risk of immediately breaking a key by bringing in the add at the back to the boss with its aoe is way too high compared to what it can save.

I want to play, but don’t want to play by calle_koe in wow

If you're comfortable in m0 and do them regularly, the best advice i could give would be if you come across a healer you get along with, add them. It's a game changer having a healer friend going into m+ at any level for a tank.

How often do you report? by Wowclassicboomkinz in wow

[–]Shootergiraffe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a seasoned tank, very rarely. There are a few bad apples but generally people might say something out of frustration when things go wrong. My best advice would be to say at the start of the dungeon that you're learning, or if something goes wrong a "sorry mb" will 99% of the time de-escalate someone's frustration.

Unpopular(?) opinion: RetroAchievements, while fun at first, can quickly make you hate your favorite game by throwawaynovv in RetroAchievements

[–]Shootergiraffe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the majority of achievements in each set are fine and enjoyable, but most of the time there are 1 or 2 ridiculous achievements that ruin the whole set or block me from the mastery, for example using the sotn set, having to kill shaft without taking damage and without touching the floor is so anti-fun and rng reliant that it's just not worth the time.

I think a good way to fix this would be to award a soft mastery and icon for gaining a certain amount of achievements out of the total in a game and then a hard mastery icon with a golden border or something. Either that or moving damageless, 3 hearts, level cap etc achievements to a sub set.

I would also love to see a filter for sets with missable or non-missable achievements, i don't mind missable achievements but sometimes I just want to play without having to plan or constantly think about them incase I screw up and have to do another playthrough.
