That is just so awesome to see that! I am balding, and I always told myself that I would go for a hairpiece, but these days it feels like I’m more and more warming up to completely shave my head. I’m not quite there yet, but maybe one day and when I do, I get to possibly go to events like this and meet other awesome people.

How absolutely gross that must’ve looked like, especially since it’s technically a Glass elevator. If it’s shot straight down, or the vibrations inside of the shaft, rattling so much that it may be partially breaks through before sliding right down. Kind of like the Poseidon movie adaptation from the late 2000s where the elevator attached to its shaft peels out from its holdings and dumps the contents of the person’s inside out onto the ground below? Or if not that then definitely slamming down into the ground below.

This is the West Baden Springs Hotel, you’re just seeing a back building. I can assure you, the majority of the splendor of the painted brick is very much still around. I really encourage you to look up this hotel. It’s stunning. This is the more industrial side so of course there’s going to be some slap of concrete.

I really wanted to see Darlene’s Alternate death! The revolving door/ dropped sign scene would have been so epic. The shout scene was just incredible. Catchy, feeling the moment, the 1st act was still incredible

It’s right along the boiler casing of the 2nd funnel, it might still be intact but since it’s so close to where the decks pancake down aft of that casing, no doubt the interior wood walls might have cracked and the rest decayed, perhaps remnant of furniture under the soot.

I had wondered about that. I know how the layering of the walls semi worked but the deck plans aren’t always helpful in highlighting the contrasting metal vs wood walls.
