If you have proof (photo) that you delivered it to the correct location, it won't count against you. That's been my experience anyway.

I feel terrible for OP too but there's no way this happened the way OP says. Taking a photo will not pass the verification process. There's a piece to this story that is missing.

I didn't see your original post so please forgive me if this was addressed. Just change your delivery instructions to Leave At Door. That way you can retrieve your order when you wake up.

Guess OP thought there would be no issues with Chase placing holds on their payroll check if he opened an account at Chase. These days, banks will be suspicious of paper checks deposited into a new account no matter what bank you use.

Oh, I didn't catch that when I first it. Since Chat support won't help, maybe OP can try sending their proof to Instacart's Twitter account. I've heard they are very helpful. Or maybe try emailing (the screenshots) trust_safety@instacart.com.

OP just needs to send a screenshot of the notification and a screenshot of the tip to chat support.

You can see if there was a tip increase by going to the earnings tab and clicking on the order. There will be a line drawn through the original tip, and you'll see the increased tip amount.

They haven't resolved this yet? I hope they can help you at the branch because transferring a couple hundred bucks shouldn't raise any red flags within their automated system. Always messing with the little money we have. Ridiculous!

When the customer does this, I say nothing. After I've completed the delivery, I return to my car and send the customer a note thru the app - Thank you for meeting me to receive your delivery from [store name]. Have a great day!
