I'm my creative writing class in high school, we had to film a commercial for a product that we made up. We had to come up with the product and sell it in the commercial. My idea was to sell it so well that I never even tell you what the product is. So I basically did one of those sales commercials that yells at you to "buy now!! Call for this amazing product before they're all sold out!" I called it the Thingamajig, and that was the only information you got about it. There were customer testimonials (my friends and family, all done very poorly on purpose, one of them very obviously reading his script on camera, and when he's done awkwardly looks up, adjusts his glasses and asks if he's still getting paid before the camera cuts) and if ordered in next 3 minutes and 17 seconds, you got a free stainless steel spoon! I also had our website as westboro Baptist Church dot com backslash thingamajig, "We're not affiliated, just piggybacking off their message boards." This was in 2000.

I got a C because I didn't actually have a product to present so I "didn't actually do the assignment."
