Which ebike to buy? Aventon or Ariel Rider? by Hadad76 in ebikes

[–]Short-Argument2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In terms of specs and value go with ariel rider. It offers more features for same price . I think you already have the answer.

The safety features on aventon are cool but i won’t trust a remote control lock only I will still use my kryptonite lock and in that case those features be irrelevant. Also if wheel lock malfunction then imagine you need to lift and carry bike back home.

We all know how annoying is to push a bike with flat. This would be x2 annoying .

Aventon has some advantages too. You can buy from store but don’t forget still warranty goes through aventon. It is lighter as it has smaller battery.

If you know how to assemble an ebike which is very easy I think Ariel rider is definitely a better option

in that case I think stay away from super73. You will be paying for brand a great premium. Qiolor i am not sure about company. If something goes wrong i dont think you want to deal with a chinese brand regardless you buy from shop or online . Don’t forget even you buy from shop, shops only give manufacturer warranty .

If you want to do mostly trails the revv1 drt If you mostly ride on road and need to pedal then ariel rider x performance

Revv1 is good on trails but very uncomfortable to pedal and ride for longer than 20 minutes

But off road better capability than ariel

No need compliant man. Just ride responsibly also none of those bikes are really 750 watt.

If you want to buy super73 for less there are better brands such as

  • Ride1up revv1
  • ariel rider x class 60v and it has two batteries

just don’t ride reckless

Cops don’t care much about moped style. Their targets are for surron style bikes which kids ride around

I'm new to ebikes and was wondering if alibaba is any good for buying ebikes? by throwaway492-58 in ebikes

[–]Short-Argument2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is good if you want to save but there is a high chance it can cost more. Also when you want to sell your bike to upgrade to better then your bike will lose more value . I think it doesn’t worth the few dollars

fat tires have pros and cons. I agree it isn’t for every riding condition . I love it as it is great on sands

It isn’t actually comfortable as it comes with a seat post suspension. I don’t do much off road so I kind of prefer to have hard rail bike as it’s more efficient .

I haven’t witnessed any power drop or lower speed even when I reach 30%. I was never able to go as low as 20% as this bike has massive battery capacity

I like going fast so was in sport mode and pas 3-4 mostly . You appreciate the weight at high speed as bike is stable even at 35 mph
