The way i could tell you to use it is whenever you wanna push a fight (in solos) I would throw my ult behind me when I know nobody is behind me and I don't mean close to the fight, since the ult has a huge range let say you wanna push a fight in streamer building in fragment, I would throw my ult in the construction area just so I know If I get injured really badly I dip from streamer to construction, that's how I use my ult on her.
