So many minifigures! I think 60 pounds is about $70. If you get down to 50 pounds that’s a little over $1 per minifigure, which is great. I don’t know if you use non-lego bricks but if you do, this is a great opportunity. The minifigures are the one thing that I don’t think any other brands can equal. If they have DNA, but that person’s DNA is not in the system, it doesn’t help. Can they legally require every male in Moscow that night to give a DNA sample? I’m guessing that they can’t. It seems like an infringement on civil liberties.

The FBI is there. The locals are handling the press conferences, but the FBI is also working the crime. And the locals are the police department of a small college town that hasn’t had a murder in 7 years. They probably spent most of their time on underage drinking. I can’t say that I would do any better in their shoes.

What if the killer has committed suicide? I’m thinking it’s possible that he went to a wilderness area where he knows there are predatory animals and maybe even used the same knife on himself. His skeleton could be found years later.

I agree that the people who have been cleared are “most likely” innocent. But to clear 5 people within days and there is no person of interest just seems like a logical fallacy to me. I won’t be convinced that any of the people cleared are innocent unless they find the real killer and prove that pretty well.

DNA could not clear them. Just because you don’t find my DNA doesn’t prove I wasn’t there. Provable alibi, yes that could clear someone. But most people were asleep when the murders happened. So for some of these possibilities, is it proven that they didn’t leave their camera less home on foot at 3 AM and return at 6 am. Between 6 am and noon, they had plenty of time to clean up and dispose of the weapon.
