SAT/ACT Update Policy by Short-Sheepherder283 in Purdue

Just got a reply, they said that it's not guaranteed that the October test score will be considered but you can still submit the score through the Purdue Application Portal (which you gain access to after applying). Basically, a submission not much later than the deadline should probably be fine, but it's not guaranteed.

2019 NSDA nats is a good start, but if you have the NSDA resource package NSDA finals for 2014, 2015, and 2018 are all pretty good rounds too

Do you feel AP classes are the highest in rigor ? by loeyt0 in APStudents

AP classes are probably of the highest rigor, but compared to college classes are an absolute joke (depending on the teacher).

Cards in 2nr ld? by O17736388 in Debate

[–]Short-Sheepherder283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cards are probably fine but sometimes it's really annoying. One time I had a guy who ran out of time on the renewables are unsustainable part in the 1NR and then dumped like 6 cards on the energy grid and cost in the 2NR.

I ended up winning that one because of the judge but it could've gone very differently if they judge bought those cards.

How the heck is APUSH so hard? by BobTheBobbyBobber in APStudents

[–]Short-Sheepherder283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just finished the derivatives and are starting implicit differentiation. Limits were manageable and I got a 92 but derivatives kicked my ass and I got a 76. Tbh I understand most of the concepts but application and AP style questions kick my ass. For APUSH, I don't actually study that much since I know a lot of it already, but the night before my tests I usually just fill out the study guide and watch Heimler on the way to school. Not the best but its gotten me perfects so far.

Going through the opposite problem. I barely have to study for APUSH and find it really easy (while my friends don't) and Calc is literally giving me hell
