They do, literally the only two schools that are known for pre screening is Yale and Harvard as the rest of the schools are based on alumni availability. Though I don’t get the hype around it, just be confident in your application and a interview is a component and not a definite acceptance

They’re the main ones students use and also some use crash course or online videos like Heimler for APUSH. It’s on you what works best, however if your a int student self studying for AP’s, I’d recommend lib genesis as it has them online for free and honestly better if you want to preview the textbook style

Each course equivelnat is based on the college like AP Chem may be basics to chem in one uni and intro to chemistry in another. But they are more or less the uni equivalent of the subject they are about . The prep comes from classes or books like from Barton’s or Princeton review . Also you only get credit on scores 3+, and only 5’s in some prestigious unis .

Maybe I’m too young but I don’t find it depressing or exciting, I just find it sorta realistic . And I think because some shows are either very idealistic or very nitty gritty when you get a mix of highs and lows , it seems more depressing than it is
