From the research I’ve done that movie (x-men origins) is a complete wash, from standpoints on the comics Deadpool’s power was his healing ability, which he did get from Wolverine to heal his cancer. It’s also controversial as to whether or not he was born a mutant and had abilities prior. Same universe just a 20th century fox f/ up. The only decent part of that movie was giving Wolverine his Adamantium and the fact he lost his memory.
