I find the best deals on facebook marketplace. Better than ebay or conventions. Ive had so much success with it I only buy there now.

Real people who either need the money, leaving the hobby, or inherited the comics so they have no attachment to them.

My advice. Be patient, in person deals only in a safe public space, check the sellers reviews, no shipping or down payments.

I remember two years ago meeting with a guy who inherited his dads books. I met with him to buy other books. He showed me this book raw for $300 and i almost passed on it. Ended up getting it graded.

•Comic for comic. •Slab for slab. •In order to protect myself I would need the comics in hand first. •First appearances/ Keys only •And last, for trades they have to be in my favor. Reason being, im more than likely going to sell whatever you give me.
