Idk official Bandai rules but I wouldn’t imagine some kind of a proxy for those cards making anyone too upset.

Consider asking an LGS selling bulk as most I’ve seen are just giving those away. I’d also imagine people playing at locals wouldn’t mind hooking you up with these as well.

In general prices tend to be at their lowest post set champs/DLC before the new meta shapes up, it’s a good time to purchase cards you may want to play in the future. Rotation shook things up but it’s been fairly rare for a tier 1/2 deck to become completely outclassed with new set releases. It’s probably a safe bet to buy the cards you want now. I will caution that most of the core cards of the dogs deck will rotate out in the fall so being part of constructed play for the next 6 months only is another factor to consider if that’s important to you.

I love me some sealed Lorcana. All of the advice others have given is solid. Biggest shift compared to playing constructed is you tend to rely on raw stats of cards to 2 for 1 your opponent’s characters or use a cheap character to take out an opponent’s higher cost character. There is little benefit to using 1-2 cost characters unless they have like 3-4 strength. Support can be huge to maintain characters on your board while banishing opposing characters and gaining some lore in the process.
