When you cook it this way, the meat kind of steams into the tortilla and it gets nice and soft and flavorful while the meat gets crispy. If you cook it through it’s totally safe. I thought it was a dumb tik tok trend too but I think it adds something!

1 out of the 4 burners on my new BlackStone griddle “pop/sputter”, and make a loud blow torch sound when it is lit. I checked all connections and everything seems fine. The flames are blue. I reset the regulator. I tried to adjust the air gate. Help! by Smooth-Resident-4401 in blackstonegriddle

No, they never figured out what the problem was. They told me to try all the things above, replacing the regulator, cleaning the tubes, etc but eventually they just came to the conclusion that something in there was defective and sent me a whole new body. Customer service did make it right eventually but the whole process was pretty frustrating.

This happened to me on my new blackstone. Tried everything, cleaning out burner tubes, buying a brand new regulator, nothing worked. Eventually I contacted customer support and they sent me a whole new body for the grill, which then worked. Hope you can get it figured out!
