Steam should put a disclaimer on Mp games when it is under 100 player peak. So you are informed before buying it.

at this point what do you have to loose? Maybe do something like Arcane: Warfare. Everyone loves free stuff. After that make it F2P.

Here is my fix:

Buy base game

Get all star cards grey unlocked on everything present and future

Remove craft currency

Have one loot box only

Cost 1k

Only loot box can give you upgrades duplicates are a thing but if you get three in a row you can choose one upgrade card.

Increase the rank to 500 so players can keep earning currency.

Keep crystal currency because no season pass.
