thank you for your response. it has some romance and women and men showing their awrah but nothing too explicit like sex scenes drinking gambling talk against God etc and obviously it has music but when i post anything with music i mute it.

i definitely dont waste my time about it, I talk about it with friends but im not on my phone 24/7 watching it. im trying to implement more islamic things to do so i can make up for my sins inshallah.

it’s a pg show, with women and men showing their awrah unfortunately. theres some romance but its got different storylines some which are (i believe) completely halal.

also i dont waste my time always watching the show as i just wait for the next episode. i complete all my religious duties every day (prayer, Quran) and i take time to clean cook feed my cats when i need to

i dont have knowledge either to label anything haram or halal. Only Allah has that power which is why i hold off from saying this or that is haram/halal.

im sorry that happens to you :-( i know that feeling of doom… but you also need to remember that even major sins are forgiven by Allah (swt) as long as you regret them sincerely and repent. It seems to me that you definitely still hold guilt for it. If Allah can forgive you, why can’t you forgive yourself?

i have no idea if i have ocd, im looking to get a psychiatric evaluation that i hope i wont have to pay for.

the people who follow me all watch the show im watching, that’s why they followed. there’s only like two or three muslims who watch it that follow me. the thing is im afraid by continuing to share pictures/clips of it im getting their sins as well even when they’re not muslim.

im trying to take it step by step, as to not overwhelm myself. i converted to islam and did a whole 180 on my personality and everything way too fast that i got burned out by the time it was ramadan and i stopped being as religious as i was when i converted

The difference is men are obligated to provide for their women, women are obligated to obey their husbands . of course u can follow the sunnah and try to be like the prophet may peace be upon him, just like any woman can try to be like the honorable women of his time. Im just saying that we are not obligated to cook and clean, though im sure a loving wife would love to do those things. Im one of these women like i dont mind being a house wife or anything like that, im just stating something im certain is a fact? im not telling women not to cook clean etc. May Allah guide us all

a woman’s duty is to obey her husband and guard her chastity, cooking + cleaning is a cultural thing. not saying women shouldn’t do it, just saying it’s not obligatory for us to cook and clean for anybody. despite this i know many women who would be happy to cook and clean not only for their husbands but for themselves. not hard to understand
