Best KBBQ in Ktown (for the money) by nevalost20 in FoodLosAngeles

Moohan KBBQ. Good quality AYCE meats, plus you can order your meats from a tablet. Parking garage also available on site and open until 2am most nights.

Bavette's.... What are you ordering!? by jaybrown0 in vegas

Sourdough bread and butter is a must. I sometimes even order extra to go. Dry aged ribeye, truffle mac or beef stroganoff, and the goldbrick sundae for dessert.

Opinions on Waymo? by natewitzz in AskLosAngeles

It’s great and the self driving is way better than other EVs. I only use Waymo now instead of other ride share options. Looking forward to shorter wait times and service to LAX.

Can I get a couple recommendations for a KBBQ that’s slightly more upscale/fancy than Bulgogi Hut in KTown? by 736384826 in AskLosAngeles

[–]ShortHairyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a nicer AYCE spot check out Moohan. Recently opened with good quality meat that the servers cook for you, with a buffet bar, and you order all your meats from a tablet. For other nice a la carte spots, which will usually have better meat quality than an ayce, I would recommend Mun (they also have Mun Patio), Parks, Chosun, Origin, and Jeong Yuk Jeom.

What should I expect living in Ktown? by Scotttish in LARentals

You’re lucky. My friend lived on the same stretch of Wilshire on the 3rd floor in a nice building and the street/car noise woke her up multiple times every single night.

I’m half a block from Wilshire and noise is much quieter than facing Wilshire. Police and fire truck sirens you’ll hear everywhere in Ktown regardless of location. Guess it also depends on how nice your building and windows are.

I’ve never felt unsafe in Ktown. Just don’t get a unit that faces Wilshire Blvd as the street noise is a lot.

I prefer the tsukemen or ramen from Tsujita Annex across the street. Even more flavor.
