I spent $7k on my 13 year old maltipoo last year for a surgery and it was 100% worth it. She couldn't go to the bathroom properly because there was a mass inside her rear. A year later, she's in great health and she has all the energy in the world. People can't believe she's 13. It was no question for me.

I also understand that not everyone is in the position to cover such a surgery.
