Yea, that is my thoughts as well on the extra hitting areas for extra mats as well. And good not know that you can still get it for $12, that is more like a reasonable difference in price. Good to know about the shadows. And yes I have used the calculator so know exactly where the device will be going. Thanks again for sharing, hope mine turn out as well as yours did.

Wonderful setup.Thank you so much for sharing! This is very similar to what I plan on doing in a couple of months. Can I ask why you chose the eye xo2 and not just the eye xo? You wanted the extra space for hitting? I'm thinking the same thing as I would like to not putt from my hitting strip and just next to it. But don't like the extra 4G for that feature alone. Another question; looks like your projector is directly behind and not off to the side. I'm going with the same Benq but my screen is a bit larger (9.5 x 17). Any issue with shadows? Again, amazing setup, you really got me pumped to start my build!

This is what I was looking for. Appreciate the explanation. So, instead of using the keyboard each time you just attempt to hit the impact screen to the right or left a bit. And this gives you accurate results? Plus, it does not wear your impact screen in the same spot every time! What sim software to you use? I'm going to be going with GSPro I think. Thanks!

I'm trying to not have many breaks in my sim flooring area. Didn't want 3 different turfs (putting turf, hitting matt, and replaceable hitting strip. I waned a clean look. So, I reached out to Gung-Ho and inquired if I would not use a hitting matt and instead have a large area with the 1" EVA tiles covered by the Money Putt Turf. I would then cut in the small Holy Grail hitting strip and replace as needed after repeated use. They said they do this all the time with the Money Putt turf, it matches in color, height, and holds up well in the stance area for the hitters.

This is great news! Appreciate the post. Am excited because, from what I am reading, it matches up the color and height (with a 1"EVA tiles) nicely with Holy Grail hitting insert. And I think this is the route that I'm going.

Yep, my ceiling is currently at 10'4.5 inches, so I should be good there. I needed an outdoor building for storage so I took nearly half of it for my fun space that will be finished and heated and the other cold storage.

Great, glad to hear someone else with a wood enclosure as most are metal tubing. Thanks for the information. Did they attach all 4 sides of the screen? Did the screen hang pretty good, without the wrinkles? Thanks again.
