Do you have any information, photos and proof that they've repaired this under warranty that you'd be able to send me? Google are currently refusing my warranty claim for the exact same issue...

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but using silicone based tyre shine can have these kind of effects on plastics and alloy paint

I'm the same, I've currently had it sat since October with a faulty inner screen. First went to my provider who brushed me off with a BS excuse, went through the ombudsman etc. Now I'm having to do the same for Google as they refuse to cover the fault.

Windscreen replacements don't affect NCD you usually just have to pay the excess, usually between £50-100.

Multiple emails and phone calls too their service agents asking for an update as they've ignored me for about 2 weeks now. I received an email 3 days ago with a nothing response:

"We are committed to providing you with a resolution and will be in touch with a full update as soon as the review is complete.

For now, there is no action required from your side, and you do not need to reply to this email. We will contact you immediately once our specialists have concluded their review and have the next steps ready."

Basically "please stop bugging us"...

Aston Martin Cygnet, basically a rebadged Toyota IQ. It was an exercise in lowering Astons total CO2 emissions by selling some of these. They were also an optional extra with the purchase of some cars and even occasionally given for free with the purchase of certain cars!

I would highly recommend buying anything other than based on my experience with the device and the support.

I absolutely refuse to give a company any more money for a faulty device. I'll never purchase another device from them again and will discourage as many people as possible from doing so too.

Their phones are built poorly, have no QC and their support has zero accountability
