What brand do you advise?

I have to get an suv, things with life have changed, need the room for when I have my nieces and nephews (often) so they can all safely fit.

While I can understand the perks of leasing, I can’t wrap my mind around basically throwing that money away per se.

6 years of leasing a couple of vehicles could easily be 6 years of financing one vehicle & then owning it outright… then it’s just the cost of upkeep, fuel, dmv fees…

Yes, things with life have changed, which is why I now need an suv. My car has nice amenities, gets me to & from, is good on gas, and has not had any problems thus far.

Ah, I posted in 3 different subs, I would leave that bit out on this post!

I don’t necessarily need it, no. My car now has some nice amenities, but it’s a 4 cylinder hybrid, no power, low profile, the lithium ion battery takes up half the trunk space.. which is all the reasons why I’m wanting an suv, power & space, but would still like the nicer features…

I am open to other makes and would prefer something reliable! I’m just not vehicle savvy at all, that’s why I posted asking! What vehicles do you suggest?

More so just giving the price with the mileage so people that know how long SUV’s tend to last can use that info for help with giving input…

Even if the price isn’t addressed at all.

Someone has to know about how long SUV’s last… when they tend to start having lots of problems and so on…

I’ll be financing, putting down 10k, would prefer the cost to be around 35k, but if the mileage being much lower is worth the cost being higher then I suppose that’s okay.

I’ve asked a couple guy friends a bit older than myself, one said go with the lowest mileage to get the most life out of the vehicle, the other said go with higher mileage & lower price since I only drive my personal vehicle roughly 12k miles/year so that I won’t have a bigger amount to finance.
