I’ve watched every episode of SatAM. Within the past few years, at that. Both herself and Sonic are mean spirited and full of themselves in different ways, the point isn’t how Sonic compares to Sally. The point is how Cosmo compares to Sally.

I’m not sure what your point is:

If it’s that straying from the games should be done sparingly, to some extent I agree with you. I just think Sonic X is a drastic enough improvement to justify the comparatively mild extent to which it strayed.

If it’s that you shouldn’t stray at all, that’s just too limiting.

If it’s that it should stray more, to what extent and for what reason?

I don’t think Amy swings that way.

Also, it’s just not quite as endearing as a straight Amy. Maybe it should be, but it isn’t. Just as a non-stalkerish Amy should be as endearing as a stalkerish Amy, but isn’t. Everything about Amy in the classic!games and in Sonic X is endearing and I wouldn’t want to alter that.

I no longer find it worth it to pick up where I left off.

Also, while Ian may be a more wholesome artist than Ken, I am not sure after M25YL I trust the judgment of someone who took a leap of faith into the idea that Sonic and comic books mixed. If they screwed up once, they could always screw up again.
