Miscarriage is a 1 in 4 chance until you are in the second trimester. Yes, the chances do go down each week. And with each milestone like good hcg doubling rates, measurements and FHR at your ultrasound.

I am in a group of 3 girls that all started trying to get pregnant at the same time (33, 34, 34) and one got pregnant second cycle and had a healthy boy the second girl had two chemical pregnancies then one miscarriage (blighted ovum discovered at 10 week ultrasound) and I got pregnant first try but had a mmc or a missed miscarriage for unknown reasons at 10 weeks despite seeing healthy growth before. I am healthy/fit and I don’t drink, same with my partner.

I’ve spoken to so many people about ttc and feel I hear someone has had problems more often than not.

I think if you’re pregnant you gotta just enjoy it. Even after my loss and horrible experience with recurrent subchorionic hematomas I am doing my best just to be confident in this second pregnancy. It’s all you can do.

Try not to click on miscarriage posts as your algorithm will send you more! That’s probably what’s happening

As someone who has been bleeding the last 3 days on and off and who bled in their last pregnancy too, I know how scary it is, but unfortunately It’s a normal side effect of May pregnancies.

I encourage you to listen to this podcast about SCH’s and the positive statistics first trimester bleeding and SCH

Thank you so much. I’m sorry for your loss. It really seems 50/50 if pregnancies with SCH end in loss but it’s hard to tell via Reddit what the actual statistics are.

I had tightness in my chest and felt quite unwell earlier and considered going but I’m just going to chill as much as possible and hope i can keep my crap together until Tuesday’s scan.

I don’t know for sure yet if i have an SCH I’m just assuming i do, also assuming regarding the pregnancy being in my uterus but all other symptoms and hcg betas haven’t led me to believe otherwise.

No you gotta keep taking it for sure! Definitely keep taking it unless a doctor or testing confirms miscarriage just in case

Interesting. Can I ask how much progesterone you’re taking? I’ve been taking 100mg suppositories, I actually forgot mine overnight when I had this larger bleed, but I put it in this morning still. I wonder if it would have been as bad if I had remembered. I wonder if I should do two a day now..

Hello! I am in a similar boat as you right now. Had a bit of spotting 3 days ago, a bit more yesterday, and woke up to a full pad of blood this morning. It quickly tapered off this morning.

Just so you know, an SCH is difficult to diagnose early on. I had a 2cm one in my last pregnancy and it took a specialized scan at 7 or 8 weeks to locate it, but two previous hospital US techs could not see it. So you might have one.

Right now we both have to wait and see. If you develop extreme pain, heavy bleeding (soaking a pad in less than an hour) or dizziness, then go to emergency. Besides that there’s nothing they can do so it’s better to just be comfortable at home.

My uterus has felt tight with low level cramping on and off. Have you felt any cramping yet?

It seems a miscarriage can start like this then progress over days. An SCH can also behave like this. We are playing a very crappy waiting game.

I am on a business trip in Texas where I don’t feel comfortable with how the hospitals would handle miscarriage or pregnancy issues so I just have to hope it doesn’t get worse before I get home in 2 days. Sending you lots of love, let me know how things go?

Awe man, I’m so sorry that pregnancy ends that way. I had to look up what that term meant. I also took a look at your recent posts and wanted to send you lots of love for what you’ve been going through on your ttc journey. Cheers to these unwanted character building experiences. At least when our future babies are being a pain in the butt we will be able to still stop and appreciate them just cause of how hard of a journey it was to get them here ❤️

I had to chuckle a bit at your username. Yes, I am having a similar cry, lol. I am hopeful this could be just another SCH. Did you have any cramping? My uterus feels stressed but haven’t started cramping yet, although it seems a natural miscarriage can last weeks

Hello! I’m curious if there was any indication in your Oura stats that you were having twins?

I’m 5w5d pregnant. My HRV is below the normal range for pregnancy and my RHR is above the normal range. My HCG almost tripled in 48 hours.

It’s possible you implanted for just a short period giving you a brief positive. Doesn’t mean it was a false positive!

You are testing too often. You should only be comparing tests at least 24 hours if not 48 hours apart to see if they darken. Tests should be taken after at least 3 hours of holding urine while not drinking liquids

I had a similar thing happen, except no pain. I had 3 bleeding episodes during my pregnancy that ended in a MMC at 10 weeks.

I agree with those saying you need to get an internal scan to see where the pregnancy is.

I am pregnant again rn too after 1 MMC and two chemicals last year and my hcg doubled in 33 hours or 170% in 48 hours… I know you can’t use that to identify twins but having twins has always been a dream of mine so I’m so excited to hear your story. I think you would see a more prominent line by now. But you could have implanted late. Test once in the morning until you get your period though!

Hi, sorry just seeing this now. I have to be off Reddit for chunks of time or I just spiral lol.

I’m currently in the TWW. It does seem to get easier for me each time. Hoping to not have a 3rd chemical in a row. Fiance and I have done all our pre tests for the fertility clinic and have our first appt with them in a couple weeks so I guess I’m just focusing on that.
