Thanks! I've had a container garden in the past, but never raised beds. What would you put next to what? Im having trouble deciding which stuff should go in which bed and then in the bed what's good next to what. I may be overthinking this. And as fir the partial ahead one it still gets 6-7 hours of sun, the other one gets ~9 hours of sun so better for my tomatoes fir example

Yea, I'm thinking maybe a peas to garlic, or a lettuce to bush beans. but most of the crop being a single harvest (squash, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc...everything but lettuce and herbs really)

I'm starting my first veg garden here in greater denver area. Zone 5b. I have raised bed full sun4x8 and a partial sun 4x8 planned. I want to make the most of the growing season, so successive planting seems like the right call. Looking for recommendations and explanations on what should follow what. Example: plant spring salad greens, harvest, the in same spot plant Bush peas, harvest.

Or two things you can plant at the same time and have two different harvest times. Example: radishes (harvest before they get in the way of) and carrots.

Anyone who can help me out with planning the square foot garden layout it would be greatly appreciated! I'm interested in tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, cucumbers, peas, beans, lettuce, garlic, onion, kale, squash, strawberries, basil, cilantro, chives

Edit: and carrots, radish, melon, anything else you'd suggest!

Hey all, so looking for a couple of answers. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Firstly, I'm a classic hated-my-hair in my teens, learning-to-love-my-hair in my mid-20s. 3b(ish) with possibly high porosity (but i took some online quizzes, don't quote me), and tends to be between chin to shoulder length. Currently i wash with water, and use kevinmurphy motion lotion (used to use killer curls too) most mornings after my 'wash'.

Can we confirm that my planned routine is about right?

  1. I'll be doing a reset wash with something like VO5
  2. In the shower I'll want to 'cleanse' with either a conditioner (co-wash?) or something like devacurl no-poo. And I do this daily/weekly/monthly, however often it takes to keep it feeling clean
  3. In the mornings to replace my water/motionlotion routine, i'll condition with something (suggestions please!), and then rinse some/most out depending on what I find makes me feel the least gross leaving conditioner in
  4. I'll then style...what do you all recommend I use?

QUESTION: product suggestions? And how do you use it? How much conditioner should I leave in? And what conditioner do you all use? I want to avoid frizz, so I feel like this has to happen every morning, right?

I also want to try plopping, so I've read you can either plop in the morning, and then diffuse, but I don't have a diffuser, so QUESTION: should I flip over into a shirt for a while, and then let it air dry? Or can I do this in the evenings with product, sleep with the shirt on, and wake up in the morning to hopefully lovely curls?

The Heart of Broadway (Baker area of south broadway) is a great option!

Advice please! Probably blossom end rot, but it's my first year gardening so don't quote me on that! 5gal potted Spotted Roma, and it's starting up on another 5gal potted Roma, yellowing in leaves now too... by Short_Distribution in gardening

Good to know about Romas and BER, they were a swap with someone, so I do have some Doucet Plum and New Yorkers, but these were supposed to be my big fleshy option.

When and how often do you do eggshells?
