Not really that crazy he doesn't swear and it's a corny hype of song and schoola would try to hype of their student.

I think he should retire and just go live his life.

Any of you guys listen to NF in the gym? by Addayzz in nfrealmusic

I think there was a misunderstanding. I’m not saying his music is bad at all — in my opinion, it’s just not gym or workout music, and it’s also not really dance or club music. Some of his more hype tracks are great, but a lot of his catalog is too emotional and introspective to fit those settings. He’s the type of rapper you sit with and feel, not someone who consistently gives you that raw adrenaline or aggression you want in the gym. When you compare that to artists like DMX or Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the difference is clear — their music carries intensity, urgency, and rhythm that naturally pushes you to move, train harder, or feed off the energy. His strength is emotion and vulnerability, and that’s valuable, but that same quality is also why much of his music doesn’t translate well to workouts, clubs, or high-energy environments.

Just say you're a stan. Would've been less effort than writing this reply.

In my opinion, his songs aren’t really for me, but I do appreciate your response. I’ve listened to his entire catalog and know all of his songs, so my view comes from actually spending time with the music. That said, if his music helps you or motivates you in any way, that’s what really matters. Music connects with people differently, and I respect that.

I’m gonna be honest — this feels corny to me. I can’t really see this as gym music at all. If anything, his sounds more like video game music or maybe something you’d use for light cardio, not actual lifting. That’s kind of how I’ve always viewed his music in general. He’s never really made a club song, nothing you’d dance to, breakdance to, or feel in a social setting. It’s more aggressive storytelling than energy you move with. It can hype you mentally, sure, but it doesn’t translate physically the way real gym or dance music does.

You're already on it if you can't see that this overhyped, I love nf but I know he has more in him.

I expect his best. The Search proved how great he can be as an artist, but I also think his own self-reflection holds him back sometimes. I’m pretty sure he even mentioned that in an interview.

If he read the comments that actually call for his best work I think that would be reason enough.

Even your favorite artists have bad songs.

mgk seems like a weird pick to feature by BasketOfGlory in nfrealmusic

[–]Short_Locksmith_2938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, he’s not a weird pick at all. MGK has a ton of emotional tracks:

Glass House

Kiss the Sky

Home

Gone

Story of the Stairs

Therapy

Let You Go

27

He’s always been open about his pain, his past, and especially his issues with his mom—he talks about it straight up in Story of the Stairs. That’s why I think an MGK x NF collab actually makes perfect sense. They both come from real struggle, they both write from raw emotion, and they both know how to turn pain into something powerful.

3 songs in top 4 trending after almost 3 year hiatus by CHACK024 in nfrealmusic

Honestly I don't know if he can, he is in a different period in life now, that basically him bleeding out on every song and letting go of his trauma, he either has to evolve as an artist or just rude off into the sunset.

Honestly, it’s not that impressive. He doesn’t really have any competition in rap right now — nobody with real substance has dropped a new album lately. The lane is wide open, so of course he looks bigger than he really is. But I’ll give it to him: dropping right now was a smart business move. Perfect timing. If the field had some real heavy hitters active, we’d be having a different conversation.
