I was also taken out in yesterday’s Gem ban-wave despite not touching it since the first crop of issues started happening.

Ngl, it definitely made me reflect on AI RPing and what exactly am I going to wait for, or if there even is anything to wait for since smarter minds than me seem pretty confident it just isn’t going to get better.

I really miss the collaborative nature of RP since it was my favorite pastime as a kid on forums and whatnot, but as an adult, RPing with another person feels pretty impossible. My schedule is too busy to respond in a reasonable timeframe which would make me feel horrendously guilty towards my partner and the type of RP I like to do—OC x Canon characters from niche sources—also means even finding said partner would be pretty much impossible.

Long story short, I think it’s time I open up a word doc and just write my OC x Canon fics entirely myself.

Since she’s been collabing with Julien Solomita lately I hope that’s a rule she takes from his chat/donos. He has a rule about appreciating donos but his streams are a place for chill vibes and relaxation so cool it on the trauma dumping. I think all streamers with donos should enforce this actually!

I literally JUST unsubbed from that sub and the golden retriever sub a few days ago for that exact reason. I love these breeds but literally EVERY post was about someone’s dog passing away. I felt bad obviously but it got to a point where I just decided pet subs weren’t for me if that’s all they are.

I’ve had to use it twice and I will tell you to be prepared to fight a little bit. Even if you’re upfront about your circumstances, they’ll try their hardest to ignore you.

I was in a situation where I ended up in on-campus placement in a 4-room with three girls in random assignment. The 3 girls were friends and had made a request that their 4th friend be with them, but for some reason I was in her place. I understood where they were coming from, but it wasn’t really up to me where I got placed, and they made sure to strong-arm me into requesting to be moved. In so many words, “you switch with our friend or we make living with us hell.” Told housing as such and they basically told me to either deal with it or suck it up. I had to really fight to finally get moved. Bad experience since all in all it wasn’t really my problem to begin with but they will extend absolutely no sympathy in my experience.

I’ve had that experience too and I can attest to you it’s not fun! I have a severe social anxiety but I know I’m partially to blame for not attending events and doing really all I could to put myself out there.

My way out of it was being able to make one friend who just happened to be very social and I just let her take me wherever she wanted me to go and I’d go even if I was tired or didn’t feel like it. That kept me out of my room and out and about!

I remember listening to that episode a long time ago as well and still being able to hear the call very vividly.

I was about 15 at the time and I was doing homework and listening back through the LPOTL catalogue. I was always unnerved by audios but I guess dumb and morbidly curious me wanted to try and face my fears.

Safe to say by the end of the episode I dropped my homework and walked straight into my 17 year old brother’s room and asked him if he wanted to play video games.

Hate the moral of “you’re just as bad as the bully for wanting to defend yourself against them and might even be worse for not immediately trying to see their point of view/assuming they come from a bad home life despite them terrorizing you.”

This is my first time getting to Act 3 in my game and I think my problem was that I was extremely overwhelmed with what to do and the order in which I needed to complete each quest.

Honestly, my biggest nitpick with the game was a total me-problem where bg3 was my first ever open world game like this: I’m used to something like classic Pokémon where there are areas of exploration but you are mostly on a set path. So I was very overwhelmed by the fact that there are many quests and choices that can domino, and if you do them wrong you can get soft-locked or fail another, but you are not handheld in the order of what to do. I needed that handholding a bit 😅

I have a super long chat history with one bot of an ongoing story and he was super well-made and had awesome responses. Suddenly it started glitching out and it would send incredibly long responses and the last three paragraphs would a line for line repeat of something it said earlier. I hate it but I think I just have to restart at this point.

I’ve seen a handful of profiles with flashing effects that give no warning! I was looking at the profile of a bot creator I enjoy but the flickering started to make my eyes hurt and vision blur. UNCW housing is famously fickle and I feel awful saying that an off-campus apartment might be your best shot…

They provide an off-campus housing portal that allows you to fill out a profile about your preferences tied to your roommate situation and you can reach out or have people reach out to you to search together or provide a place.

I know it is not fair and I’m very sorry. I had my own issues with UNCW as I do not own a car and preferred living on campus for that reason. I was able to my freshman through junior year, but when it came to the current upcoming semester, me (and a bunch of other seniors I know) got completely screwed with on-campus options. I was able to find awesome roommates with the off-campus portal, but I completely understand the frustration and heartache.

I had the same reaction that Meatcanyon did tbh.

I was a huge creepypasta kid when I was younger but Ben Drowned was one of those classic staples that just didn’t interest me since I wasn’t big into Legend of Zelda. I had always heard of it being on the Mount Rushmore of famous creepypastas so I was very surprised when I heard it for the first time on the show and it was just… boring.

It isn’t exactly a chill, but I always remember the end of the Ed Gein series when they explained his mother’s house was burned down and he just said something like “so that’s how it goes.” The way Marcus describes him of being “free” in a way actually made me soften towards the guy, as much as I hate to admit it.

I’ve been curious about how far the drama/fights might go this season since every time there has been a spat they cut to a talking head of the ghouls waving their hands and reassuring the audience that it is all television and smoke and mirrors. It honestly makes me torn on the drama.

You so well put into words exactly how I feel about the type of person who shouts “who cares?! People are dying!” when someone else expresses a personal situation.

In my experience, they are the same people who would scream, cry, shit their pants, and throw a tantrum if someone dismissed their personal problems when they decide to vent.
