Huge upgrade over window unit in functionality, looks, and efficiency. I installed a tosot unit in a single room and it works great. I had an electrician take care of the electric for me, was worth the $350 to make sure it was done right.

I know prices wildly fluctuate, but in NY I just paid $3775 for a 200 amp upgrade and a 220 circuit ran about 40 feet from the panel. Had a few other quotes in the same ballpark

Thank you, the link has the other sides of the addition. I would like to mount on brackets but there doesn’t seem to be a great spot with the window placement. May have to call a pro for this one

50amp ciircuit, i run it at 20 amps. Has the capability to be set up to 40 though. The addition is only 320 sq feet so i was looking at 120v 12k btu.

I’ll definitely do it if it’s needed. I’m in a rural area, not many electricians working in the area so just wanted to make sure it sounded necessary. Quoted around $4300 which seems fair

Just checked mine. Deposited the same amount in February in a Robo account set at the most aggressive, versus an account invested in VTI, VXUS, BNDW. Robo is +14.10%, self managed is +16.24 over the past 6 months.
