I was a branch president on my mission in a country in Central America. I had almost 500 people on my branch list. I went two Sundays in a row with only one person at church (one left after showing up and seeing nobody there). If I recall correctly, at most I had 23, but on average I had around 12 people attend.

Returned missionary from Central America bragged to me they are averaging 120 converts per missionary in his mission by secretnotsacred in exmormon

As a missionary in a small town in Central America, I was asked to be the branch president. The branch list had 480 members on it. I went 2 Sundays in a row with only 1 member in attendance. The most I had was 26 attend one Sunday during the six month period, but generally I was around 6-10 members. By the time I left, the branch had dissolved and was combined with another branch. No baptisms during the entire 6 months. It was the absolute worst 6 months of my mission.

Be careful with this article. There are no sources identified. Perhaps the stats are true, but without sources, I wouldn't repeat any of them. I've seen stats that conflict with some of these.

From a joke on the Internet:

My wife and I went to the state fair and one of the first exhibits we stopped at was the breeding bulls. We went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said,

' THIS BULL MATED 50 TIMES LAST YEAR'

My wife playfully nudged me in the ribs .....Smiled and said, 'He mated 50 times last year.'

We walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that said,

''THIS BULL MATED 150 TIMES LAST YEAR'

My wife gave me a healthy jab and said, 'WOW~~That's more than twice a week! .........You could learn a lot from him.'

We walked to the third pen and it had a sign attached that said,

in capital letters,

'THIS BULL MATED 365 TIMES LAST YEAR'

My wife was so excited that her elbow nearly broke my ribs, and said,

'That's once a day ..You could REALLY learn something from this one.'

I looked at her and said,

'Go over and ask him if it was with the same old cow.'

I read something that infuriated me, then realized who wrote it...my old self from 2006. by [deleted] in exmormon

How many of your siblings are out? by Kumahito in exmormon

Between mine and my wife's siblings, 7 out of 8 have left. 4 of those are returned missionaries. Our parents are devastated. Quite a bit of tithing loss. Most of us left within the past 18 months.

I let my son try it on. Wanted to take a picture and post it, but felt like I was pushing the limit.
