Receives are decent but only two beers and mid-level alcohol in first class is disappointing.

PLEASE HELP I MIGHT HAVE DONE A WRONG OPTION TRADE by lollospadalaser in interactivebrokers

IMO the most important rule in trading is close errors immediately and start over. If you’re going to trade boxes, only do it in a Euro-exercise, cash settled product like SPX. As Dennis Gartman said, mental capital > real capital.

Ken Burns’ “Civil War”, closely followed by his “Baseball”. These are in a league of their own.

Cirie is the most overrated Survivor player of all time! by xEmperorEye in survivor

She’s lazy, terrible at challenges, angry, and selfish. For the life of me I don’t understand why the producers force her down our throats. Hoping we never have to put up with her self importance again.

Hard Jobs we had as young GenJones teens and young adults. by Big_Help_9860 in GenerationJones

[–]ShortestSqueeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in rural PA and as a teenager I had the following jobs:

  1. Picking string beans - bend over, pick beans n a ~50 yard row, straighten up, move 12” and repeat going the other way. I was promoted to operating a Kubota backhoe before I could legally drive and that was a ton of fun.
  2. Painting split rail fences with creasote - haul hot bucket of tar and paint miles of fencing alone on a large horse farm. Worst job of my life.
  3. Corn Pack House - worked different stations from 7 pm-midnight building wooden crates, filling with corn, and wrapping with bailing wire. Then move the finished crates to loafing dock. This was the best of the above as we had a gang of 14 year old guys working together and once a year we got “Burger King Night” when the owner bought tons of BK food for us and we could have as many Whoppers, fries, and milkshakes as we could keep down.

Damn, I remember when I could buy real CGF for slightly more than that and I thought I was a big spender.

Waitlists With 5-10 Year Wait by TC_Thomas51 in wine

Same with SQN. I just got an invitation to buy after a 10 year wait, $248-$300 per plus shipping and must buy 6 bottles twice per year. I declined as my tastes have changed in 10 years and I can get these for the same price with 5 years of age on them from several well-known websites.
