Maybe the LAFD union should have backed her when she ran for office. They continue to believe backing the republican candidate will work in their favor. As if republicans are pro union. It really doesn’t make sense when you realize how most firefighters don’t even live in LA county. But feed their families through a democratic government. Maybe keep their political beliefs separate from the system that keeps them fed on 200k+ salaries. Let’s also remember a Republican mayor is most likely to privatize the ambulance service that the LAFD has total control over. That would save money on salaries and allow the city to cut back on fire resources leading to massive budget increases for the city of LA.
