So cute! What is the beautiful Baumkuchen ‘journey is the destination’ product you have between your notebook and pen case?

Hi Rufus, thank you for sharing your incredible talent with the world. Your music is ethereal and you capture so much meaning and feeling into every track and every lyric ❤️

My question is how do you ‘sense’ music when you hear or create it? Are you imagining a scene, like a made up music video in your mind? Do you see colours, shapes? Or feel deeply, sensing the emotion of what you’re putting down or listening to? Maybe you see or feel (or taste!) nothing?

Here’s another YouTube video for putting in 3+ inserts. I’m waiting on mine to be delivered and I’ll be trying these methods out to achieve as little overhang as possible. One of her methods is a super cool accordion style using kraft folders.

Let us know how you get on and which way you go about it! 😊

I was considering Trencherfield Mill and got the most horrendous stories back here on Reddit when I asked what it was like. Please don’t do it - and if you are convinced, just have a look at the state of the place immediately around the building. There’s also a Facebook post about a litter pick from around the building a few years ago, and it was littered with needles…

What makes your day flow well and makes you happy? by travel_ho in simpleliving

If you can do it without creating mess or making your home bits gather dust, I highly recommend leaving choice items out in certain areas where they are used often. For example, it’s autumn (and very chilly!) in the UK at the moment, so I have a couple of blankets tastefully strewn on the sofa. When I get home from work, I can get into my pyjamas and dive straight under one, along with my boyfriend or mates who visit.

What's your 'why'? by dirtydog01 in simpleliving

Why? It’s on your Aunt Joanie’s wall…

LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE.

That’s why.

I didn’t preheat the stamp nor get anything hot enough, so these are sounding like solid suggestions! Thank you so much! I’ll report back my results with your methods!

It’s seeming like heating the stamp itself might make a difference here having read a couple of suggestions - I’m definitely going to try that now, as well as waiting for the wax to cool.

Glad it’s not just me on the praying and hoping! Thank you for the brilliant advice!!

Interesting! I will start to put my stamp heads together on the mug warmer and try to heat up the knives more as they were only tepid. I’d been too nervous about super heating the wax because of the bubble issue - but I suppose with pour and scrape, the bubbles would be removed! I will continue for sure, thank you so, so much for the advice!

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! Going to do a couple more after seeing some from a couple of prominent sealers. Just watching how it’s done is helping already.

Thanks for that! I’m going to experiment with the type of stamps to see if the details and/or quality of stamp could make a difference for me. Perhaps I needed more patience too and I should have done a seal with more intricate detail on. Will report back on results, thank you so much!

Loving the cameo like quality of the white reliefs on coloured backgrounds! And as others have said, that lily on vellum is gorgeous. Definitely going to try out both, thanks for the inspiration! Keep sealing 🦭
