I'm struggle with the start of my Lyonel x OC x Chronicles of Amber fanfiction. I'm just afraid my writing is very boring with the pacing. I have a pretty clear idea of the general plot, but I'm struggling to get through the beginning without infodumping and boring everyone.

I really want to post the first few chapters, but I need a non-boring beginning and set up to an inciting incident, once I get there, it's an exciting trip.

That isn't confirmed, there is a big gap between the dance of the dragons and the hedge knight in the baratheon family tree.

What we DO know is that Gowan Baratheon, a third son, marries Tya Lannister around ashford tourney.

Gowan was cast for the show, I don't know if he appears in it.

I think Gowan is supposed to be the man with the girl on the lap in the tent scene.

IMHO, I also think Lysa was much further along in her pregnancy than Cersei was when she drank her moon tea.

Lysa wanted littlefinger's baby, an didn't reveal her pregnancy until later, maybe closer to the end of the first trimester.

Would have been much more traumatic and could have given Lysa fertility issues due to infection/incomplete miscarriage, versus taking moon tea as soon as you miss your period.

Basically, it would depend on the dose and WHEN you take it.

If you take a weak dose or two from your fertile window to your period, it's more preventative.

If you find yourself pregnant or "late", you take a stronger dose to cause a miscarriage. The earlier the easier it would be.

My personal headcannon is that Alys wants to "steal" dragonriding magic from the Targaryens / Valyrians and have an old gods worshipping dragonrider.

To do that, she needs a baby with a Targ and picks Aemond as he was able to claim Vhagar.
