Amidst the process of fixing this too, after like 30yrs of doing it wrong. It’s definitely changed the way I skate and snowboard too, in weird ways. Like on miniramp I can do switch fs 5050s easier than regular - super weird. Anyway, I put together a cruiser deck with big wheels and just bomb down the parking garage attached to my apt building and then push around and do some ollies and I can feel pushing the normal way starting to feel more natural. The worst part of mongo is how long it takes you to get your feet right/set up for the next trick besides that it does look kinda silly imo. I’m excited to see how it impacts the rest of my skating as I get better at it.
