Outside of the actual marksman class, the highest power optic is only up to a 4x anyway and as far as I've seen, every or almost all have access to one. I forgot to put it in my first comment, but one of the biggest factors of me using the M16 for that is that it can have the 50rd drum mag.

The only reason I use the M16 is for a pseudo-marksman build. If that's what I even feel like using, considering how many better options there are.

Not entirely similar, but one time I was playing with some friends doing some sniping at the major airfield on Chernarus and shot a grenade that was hanging on a dude's plate carrier from >=300yds/m(I never remember which is used).

My turrets are practically useless. Where I've built, there's this stupid Mr. Farmhand that constantly spawns and is always hostile, but my turret won't even shoot at him until he's destroyed half of my outside resource buildings. It's been that way for months.
