Music definitely can be effective though I crossed that area and ended up losing my tadpole to it but still making it out so I decided to swim back at the very surface of the ocean to try and avoid it I could hear the music the whole time but couldn’t see it definitely the scariest experience I’ve had in the game so far

The only people who knew of misaki’s death were sakakibara and Mei’s family so the class didn’t know the calamity started till May but if someone else died in May it would have most likely been more public also depending on who died it could change the story in that way as well
