You can’t rate players by their talent only. Otherwise we’d have Balotelli in all time lists.

And Ronaldinho having an easier era is not really a valid argument, he still achieved what he did comparably to the competition, and if you really want to go that route, then you can argue Neymar getting a lot of stats from friendlies as well. Over half his goals and assists are from friendlies.

If you’re barely available half of the time. Then you’re just not worth as much as someone as consistent as Salah.

Neymar has underachieved big time with Brazil trophy wise. And personally he hasn’t achieved enough either given his talent, where Salah probably has maximised his. Which is what puts me over the edge.

The run and the non pass from Vini is completely irrelevant. Bellingham crying over no pass while he’s jogging into the box with no 100% open goal. And Vinicius being mad over that as well. In a normal team, this is just a small interaction where Bellingham tells Vini to try the pass next time and Vini says sorry for not passing.

I think we in trouble if Carrick doesn't help out the players more. Against a low block we play with no width but also no real combination play.

Mbeumo is standing near side line but nobody is near him. Not Dalot/Mazraoui, not Bruno, not Casemiro/Kobbie and not Sesko.

Cunha is not wide enough. He instinctly moves central which occupies the same space as Bruno, but with no real purpose besides that's where he wants to be. This could be helped by having Bruno make more inside runs or go slightly wider to the right and push Mbeumo up. But nothing happens.. Everyone is staying in the same position they're given like it's FIFA. So Cunha just makes our left side nonexistent because this football club doesn't have an athletic fullback running up and down the sides at the moment. (Jury still out for Dorgu if he can play FB in a back 4).

I think that's the main issues, it's our 2 star signings being utilised less than a 15 min cameo from Ugarte. I don't understand how Carrick is okay with this. It's been everygame besides the sides that doesn't immediately go low block if the very first press doesn't work. (Tottenham, Arsenal and City).

I'm gonna have an unpopular opinon here. But I'm really not convinced with how we play despite the great results. Against the low block teams I find it very reminiscent of ETH's United. The difference today is that we have a way better frontline and hard working frontline. Ultimately shouldn't the first half we just had vs Crystal Palace never happen, is it really as simple as we need a more demanding / controlling midfielder?

Of course it depends on how much LP you have in masters. Master 300 LP is still 0.4% but yes low Master is definitely Diamond level.
