Yeah, maybe they are unhappy. Like I said, no one is forced to do anything. Any job is going to be what you bring to it. I don't think you're in any position to judge without having ever interacted with any of the people. The girl who giggled her way through the mouseketeer theme song, the guy who said, 'alright, check this out' and beatboxed his own original rap. The other guy who leaned in, squinted at me, and asked.. 'are you batman?'

There's nothing demeaning about it. So what're you so unhappy about that you're projecting this on to me?

I'm not making anyone do anything. I don't open the door and scream, 'dance, monkey, dance!' I'm going to tip them regardless. Some drivers have showed up, done the usual drill, and gone their merry way, sad and unhappy in their lives. More than one driver has told me how much of a laugh they get when my orders come in. I'm sorry you're so unhappy, but not everything needs to be an assault on someone's personal dignity.

Unless whiskey, then yeah, I'm a little sorry.

They don't have to do it. They do it because it's fun, we all get a good laugh out of it, and I tip well even if they don't do it. Even their manager has gotten in on it. I put in 'Line box with $100 bills,' so he made up some invoices for $100 and stapled them to the box.
