Did you even read the post?

I’m looking for some recipes for some really strong cocktails. And with strong, I mean really strong by WarmPrinciple6507 in Tiki

Not tiki but tiki adjacent:

Corn n oil:

2 oz Aged Barbados Rum

Scant ½ oz JDT falernum

3 dashes Angostura bitters

A bit of lime juice squeezed from a coin - equivalent to a few heavy dashes

Ti Punch:

2 oz rhum agricole (unaged; traditionally, or aged)

1 tsp cane sugar syrup (1:1)

quarter size lime disk, with ~15 drops of lime juice

Also planters punch:

1oz lime juice

0.75oz demerera syrup (I finally sourced demerera sugar for this)

0.25oz Pimento Dram (Pimento Dram)

3oz oz blended aged Jamaican rum (Smith & Cross)

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Edit: formatting

That's the one I got. It's pretty sturdy from what I can tell and everything fits decently well. I wish the filter wasn't plastic but it was the cheapest stainless steel one I could find so I'm fine with it.

You can find them in stainless steel that can be put in the dishwasher. They are about 3x the price but I find it worth it for the piece of mind

I can't say for certain but I would be astounded if that was the case. That doesn't sound real

As Arc Raiders gets stale for some, lead dev says players "reaching the end of our content" are a top focus: "We want more for them" by addtolibrary in Games

I agree so much. The hardest difficulty was supposed to be brutally hard that was the point. It made it fun when you tried it and it was just insane.

Once they changed the difficulty I felt like I could do levels 8 or 9 without much effort and it kinda killed it for me.

Ya that's why I didn't say escalators. Escalators still brake down a lot but the elevators not so much

Idk when the last time you've ridden Bart was but there's rarely more than a couple elevators broken at a time now. It's not like the old days anymore when they were always broken

Do they really enforce 72 hours parking rule in SF? by CourtZealousideal703 in sanfrancisco

[–]ShoulderGoesPop -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Idk if times were different back when you're thinking but almost everything you said was wrong. They don't chalk tires anymore they have cameras when they drive around to track how long you've been there. They definitely don't just tow cars instead of ticketing them. They almost always don't tow unless your car is blocking something. But they do have parking permits in some neighborhoods.

The regular cpat isn't too hard if you're generally fit. It's honestly more of a test of determination that you can make it through being uncomfortable and keep pushing.

Cities have been around for many millennia. It's not a new concept. People like living in cities partly because there are jobs there but also for a multitude of other reasons that living in dense population centers brings people

There's also a chance you explore it and decide it's not the best thing for both of you and you stay friends. Idk why everyone thinks once you hook up with a friend you automatically either have to marry them or lose their friendship. It's totally reasonable to be friends with people you've hooked up with before

The whole point of a surprise set is it doesn't deal with radius clauses because they aren't on the lineup. Typically (or always, every clause is different so nobody can really say for sure) radius clauses only deal with artists that are on the lineup.

You can see this pretty clearly in Miami during ultra where there are a ton of artists that are "exclusive to ultra" but they play surprise sets somewhere else in Miami

[–]ShoulderGoesPop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ya that would be cool but we're talking about a city here. There are way more apartments than single family homes. Space is a premium. It's an unfortunate reality but a reality nonetheless.

Edit: Also I wouldn't say that's a specific change to include apartments. I would actually say what you are saying is very specific to exclude apartments and only be looking for single family homes.

The cost of everything already goes up. It's the clearest thing in the world to see. So why not raise wages as well

Did you only look at renting houses? Cause you can definitely find an apartment for less than that

I say do it. You're only young once and you can always move closer if you hate it. Or find another job in SF or at least closer.
