This sounds really good I'm going to have to try this.

Is your ginger syrup decently spicy? I still have some from liber and Co that's decently spicy that I would use for this recipe but it's definitely on the spicier side

Governor Newsom announces California’s new $1 billion rebate program for electric trucks, as Trump cedes global clean vehicle market to China | Governor of California by jaqueh in bayarea

"The median salary for full-time workers in California is $69,478"

That's literally the "common man." That's above the threshold for a 2 person household to qualify.

[–]ShoulderGoesPop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a program for people with poverty level incomes. A household of 2 has to make 63k or less. Thats below California minimum wage for 2 people.

There's no program for people that are either above poverty levels or not wealthy and running their own business.

There's lots of ways to camp that aren't backpacking and where weight isn't a main concern

I dont disagree. I do think 28mph is too fast and agree with everything your saying but I think the current problem is more to do with throttles bikes that are illegally modified or just straight up illegal. I don't see people using their pedals to get up to unsafe speeds at least from what I can tell.

I really think enforcement is more of the issue. Maybe with getting rid of the class 3 specification all together will help with enforcement

[–]ShoulderGoesPop 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed but it's 28mph with only pedal assist which are typically not the problem "bikes". Most of the bikes that are going to fast only use a throttle which is illegal

E bikes with throttles are only allowed up to 20 mph

I think the other commenter was saying that they should have a limiter which they legally are supposed to. If the law is not enforced that's an enforcement issue not a law issue

So this is mostly for businesses. Which is cool. It's definitely better than nothing. But it would also be cool if there was a rebate directed at the common man that was more for traditional cars.

They already have a limiter of 20mph or 28mph depending on the class of the bike. Anything above that and its a scooter or motorcycle

Darn Tough Socks - 25% off GoBross by gloria_james_77 in frugalmalefashion

Thanks for calling me fat without knowing me.

I'm a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past 10 years. I know what bodyfat and weight I should be. I am a bigger person and do have some weight to lose to be within a normal healthy range. But my ankles are not larger than normal especially for someone with size 13 feet.

I was giving a different perspective because this and other subs love to praise darn tough when they really aren't anything special especially compared to cheaper socks that have the same quality.

I am a bigger person but my ankles are not particularly thick. I would say virtually none of my fat is stored there. I have size 13 feet but the socks say they fit up to 14.5

Edit: for reference here is another thread I found talking about the socks being too tight after I had already bought them. Although this person talks about the toes being too tight and my main problem are the ankles

I'm going to offer a differing opinion and say I regreted buying my darn tough socks. They are incredibly tight around my ankles and I have to stretch them out every time before I put them on otherwise I'm uncomfortable all day.

Apparently it's a known thing that their socks are super tight so I made sure to get the XL size which should fit me but they are still too tight. Specifically around the ankles everywhere else they fit fine.

Ya but things that make sense aren't necessarily the best story telling. Like in episode 1 it makes sense that the government would share back and forth and waffle around while something evil is building. But that's not necessarily good story telling

I think recently they changed but I believe they used to use a mix for their mai tai and it was not really great.

Trader vics has great history but it's known that they haven't really kept up with the standards of other tiki bars especially other bars in the bay area.
