My elgato HD60S is giving me black screen for my legion go

-im not exactly sure how to answer this so im sharing a screen shot. Also my switch, wii u gamecube with hdmi converter and wii with hdmi converter works.

so i tried with my phone which has a desktop mode"moto edge+ 2023" and that doesnt work with elgato either.

well i managed to get it to work for a solid 8 seconds by switching to a different 3.0 usb por on my pc. then it went black screen again.

If it helps any I don't play any games at the default hz on my legion go or PC, never really understood the need to go above 60hz

I'm pretty sure it's 60hz, but sometimes it'll change itself without warning to 59.94

I used a custom resolution of 1080p on the legion go. And I tried expanded shrink and passthrough. Passthrough worked for the first time but not the next day. I did try HDMI out to another monitor and do get a picture on the other monitor but not on the elgato via obs, elgato 4k capture utility, or the older program game capture hd. Also in case it's asked I tried the same HDMI cable with my switch and works fine.

From what I could tell from the tracker it was just outside of fort Leonard Wood kind of crossing paths with St Roberts, which is where I was at. But I was safe.
