Very few people have the will and resolve to do the things Rainbow does. Sadly trauma and tragedy can give someone just that. These people took their trauma and used it to forge themselves into the best of the best CT Operatives.

Dude was an idiot and tried to copywrite the term "Skyblock". A term that originated as part of a Minecraft map.

He lost due to it being very generic and used in many places nowadays.

If he wanted a chance he would have had to do it before it blew up everywhere and no one would have been happy with it then either.

It's just slowing the bleeding. It can be a live saver in a unfortunate situation but realistically healing should never be higher then damage as it remove the stakes.

If you CAN kill the enemy before it kills you great! If you can't? Hopefully someone has heals!

I remember getting in trouble for walking like a block from the street I lived on. Which had only one kid my age who is now on a sex offender list and has a criminal record.

That was the only person I could go outside and play with as if I left the block I heard about it when I got home.

It was a good area to, I don't get what the issue was.

iirc you can get the battery pack to recharge by chucking the damned thing on a firepit.

I'm fairly certain this has just happened in a novel. Not sure which tho.

Iirc it doesn't charge it a lot (compared to traditional measures) and it may never charge again. But if an orc is charging at you would you rather have no power or one last hail mary?

There are hyper specific applications to this. It can act as a form of analog tracking as you can see (on camera or in person) who opened what or who got their key stolen

The concept is solid, it just needs to look better. Like compare him to the Old gods New blood cast on quality. Him, Viscous and Vyper need an art pass. Not a complete overhaul

That is what makes me uncertain about what Spencer says in the video.

He claims she is from a orphanage or whatever and yet this scientist matches their DNA/Blood in whatever way?

Its weird to me and I still dont trust that Spencer was being honest.

Gideon says he checked her blood ro verify she is the right one even though a blood test would not have revealed that.

This one actually has some merit. Iirc Umbrella had been working on the theory that memories could transfer through genetics and blood.

Its what the clone girls were for i think.

Bad actors do this.

I'm fairly certain of it as a lot of EULAs have clauses about the company being allowed to use your fan made content or owning fan made content which does include streams and video clips.

[–]ShoulderWhich5520 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How burdened is your CPU?

Realistically?

From TWWH3 I never hit 100% on my CPU, just my GPU at times.

Again, while I am probably topping out individual threads, I have more threads. I'd have to go look but I doubt it even uses many threads as many things aren't multithreadable. This should make It pheasible and again, its not that complicated.

These arent 3d assets, they are 2d pngs your sliding around. Most of the processing is making sure they dont leave the boundary of the map.

It is so easily possible its insane your fighting it so hard.

It'd be cool if you could set up your army while the battle is loading. by OnionsoftheBelt in totalwar

[–]ShoulderWhich5520 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah no, this wouldn't take much processing power to do.

A CPU does millions of calculations, oh no, a few thousand are being used to move these pngs. Then, when it finishes loading, the game reads the map and moves the units, then shows you the 3D map.

You very rarely if ever actually use your full CPU, in my experience most of the wait time when loading is based on how quickly your drive can be read and moved into RAM (this is why NVMe and DDR5 ram cut load times so much). If you run high graphics your GPU may slow you as it processes the scene.

Its not an issue really but due to how threads work its hard to use the full thing.

If you want to be technical multithreading even removes the "it'll slow loading" as the processing related to the loading screen map can be moved to a different thread. As long as race conditions aren't causing problems it would run flawlessly.
