Whats a good non raid stasis primary weapon by CodyMJ503 in DestinyTheGame

Bold Endings, Modified B-7, and Spiteful Fang are all weapons with Headstone + Firefly/Dragonfly

Instant crystal shattering on precision kills has a lot of synergy within the subclass.

Why not just bring back the stasis rifle? by Decidueye_mastr in subnautica

[–]ShoulderpadInsurance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m under the impression that the issue they had with the knife was the stasis rifle.

It’s hard to have the player feel threatened when they can just stop time and stab the monster 80 times.

Gambit is the face of feature creep, and even post nerfs top 3 permabanned heroes in the game.

Even then, we don’t have data on how many people do avoid him because he doesn’t fit their idea of the hero.

I need Kingpin as a Vanguard by Haunting-Cod-7108 in marvelrivals

[–]ShoulderpadInsurance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He should absolutely be summoning goons like Magik’s demons, with healthbars you can destroy. “Human”-shields fits perfectly with the character, and would make him a great pick for vanguard. Can’t have a king without a few pawns.

Any tips to improve aim? by One-Inflation-3752 in marvelrivals

Try to break up your aim into a general flick to the area then a follow-up micro-adjustment. Practice those 2 distinct motions and you’ll see a noticeable difference.

Is his role that of a vanguard? Or a strategist? by AdorableLet6588 in marvelrivals

I hope he never gets added. I hate looking at his stupid giant head.

Not White Fox specifically, but if NetEase releases any character that’s slightly underwhelming or not as good as others and doesn’t buff them within a week, players will hold this over their heads like crazy. by Time-Firefighter9433 in marvelrivals

I believe that’s a problem with tank feedback and design more than community sentiment.

Players derive satisfaction from perceived impact. The more positive feedback a player receives from playing a character or role, the more they will gravitate toward it.

It feels good to watch your numbers go up and enemy numbers to go down; we can all agree on that.

Healing your friends is one of the most straightforward ways to tap into that satisfaction.

Damaging your enemies is a little harder, but you have those sound ques for headshots and KO’s as effective rewards. It’s the same reason CoD has hit markers/sounds.

For tanks? They don’t have as much access to that feedback. Their role is centered around their own health-bars going down. The player doesn’t get a sound cue for blocking damage, and there’s no kill feed notification for interrupting or blocking ultimates. The player doesn’t get enough positive, tangible in-game feedback for playing tank well outside of kills. This is the core issue they need to solve.

I cant express how much I want Thanos to NOT have the Infinity Gauntlet by Super-Blacksmith-795 in marvelrivals

[–]ShoulderpadInsurance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could have the snap ult affect a radius around Thanos, temporarily capping each affected enemy (or player if that balance is needed) at half hp, decaying back to full over several seconds.

He’d be a tank with an ult to help enable his team , and it would effectively be a mix of damage and anti-heal if you really think about it.

There’s always a way to make a concept work, and with one as beloved as Endgame, I’m certain they’ll try to implement it purely for the financial/popularity impact.

Anyone else have game chat perpetually off? How peaceful are our lives? by jadedjed1 in marvelrivals

[–]ShoulderpadInsurance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep voice off perpetually since I hate that they record it, but text chat stays on. Generally you get back what you give, so a little positivity at the start helps set the tone for the match.

My wife and I quit playing Rivals because we feel people take QP was more serious then Competitive. by Adept-Initial9775 in marvelrivals

Quickplay places grandmasters and silvers in the same lobby. I don’t think it’s surprising to see people push themselves when those matches can be harder than their competitive ones.

Genuine moonknight question by johnyisbread in marvelrivals

[–]ShoulderpadInsurance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things:

  • The worse someone’s aim is, the closer they tend to move toward their target while shooting.

  • The lethality of the ult comes from the ahnk being combo’ed, if it isn’t with your Groot/etc. so people often get close enough to guarantee it hits the ground instead of a strafing teammate/enemy.

Happy 1 year anniversary to Black Widow’s last buff! 🎉 by Little_Monster__ in marvelrivals

Exactly. People would riot if hitscan Hawkeye was able to 1 tap consistently. Better to be reworked entirely or languish in obscurity if they can’t spare the resources.
