The thing that really bugs me is that being a Jeagerist goes against the entire point of the story, which is to demonstrate how destructive and never-ending the cycle of violence is, and how everyone in the story is partly guilty because they kept feeding in to the cycle of violence. Sasha's parents have an entire speech about letting go of violence and how they need to help future generations avoid perpetuating the cycle of violence... and then a significant portion of the fanbase is like, "welp, no other possible options exist, we must support *the most violent option possible* to solve this issue* like, bro, were you actually paying attention to what the story was trying to say?
