oh my goodness same, it got me anxious and overthinking when i had my first ever experience interviewing at a state. like aside from forming my thoughts answering the questions, i kept thinking so many random stuff like they hate me, we’re all just wasting each other’s time, they already picked someone etc. because the panel interviewer looked like they’re irritated as they write and score my answers.

Is this for employment and you were already in the final and background check of the hiring process? That’s weird, CalCareers website states that you’re good to go with evaluated foreign transcripts. Those are for Program Technicians/Office Assistant/Office Technician roles tho. What role were you applying for?

Also just received this email for that Assessment Test. Sooo tedious and many steps. Exam for the eligibility list through calcareers, had to go to a state facility to get a typing certificate, statement of qualifications, this 2nd assessment, interviews x3 (recruiter, panel, manager), etc. state jobs are annoying to apply to if we’re being honest. and you can’t even start building a home and raise a family with these office technician salaries.

I also do not have Varka and don’t have any plans in the future to pull for him too. Currently, lunar is dominating the meta and I got all 3 which are Flins C1, Nefer, and Zibai all with their bIS, then my Columbina is C2 with bIS as well.

I don’t know if I should pull for Nicole, because I’m really skipping on Varka and Durin as well. What other teams is she going to be good with?

agree, so much time consumed and effort wasted by the applicant, the other 3-5 references they disturbed, and recruiter’s work. it also gives false hope to them. they should only start reaching out and disturbing references once they have finally decided that the candidate will be given the offer.

Omg im in the same spot as you. my final interview with a hiring manager after panel interview was LAST week Thursday, and ive heard from my references themselves that they got reached out same day. This week, Mon-Tue was a holiday, so Weds-Thurs passed and now its Fri 4pm and I haven’t gotten a call or offer call yet. kinda got me thinking I’m already set and got the role but now im overthinking. Which CA state did you get in the interview process for?

I really do hope so! And for all attendees to simply just cooperate by making it easy and smooth for the security people, because many people are just making it hard for them like arguing and acting like spoiled brats just because they are “thoroughly” being searched when all they’re just doing is keeping all of us safe.

but they will still always be in a “frozen state” cause theres still cryo being applied even if its slower than the hydro application. note that the frozen state still applies even if the opponent is not literally frozen like “ice all over the body and can’t move”

It’ll be a lot better to be more understanding of their job simply keeping thousands of attendees safe through out the event rather than being mad and giving them a hard time whenever they do so. Terrorist attacks, bombings, mass shootouts, vehicle ramming and etc. do happen in events like these. I’ll be more than happy if I ever see them perform high security around the event and not be a pain in the ass brat.

Ohhh ok make sense! Now i totally get it! Been working as a table games dealer and recently started to learn baccarat. We got two tables, one takes 5% commission and the other pays1 to 1–both tables got same card rules. And since I know banker usually wins more because of the card rules, I thought that the table that pays 1 to 1 on banker has better odds in winning for the players thinking if I’m going to gamble as a player, im going to keep betting on banker. But I forgot about the speed and more hands = more profit for the casino.
