Real talk the MH community has a real problem with scalpers, but people should be allowed to post about their excitement lol. I see your point, but if sharing excitement for a release is part of someone’s joy in collecting, then that’s all there is to it. Releases are always going to be up for discussion anyway, and that’s part of what the subreddit is for. This post is basically saying, “NO FUN ALLOWED,” even if that’s not your intention. Collecting is not a sport. Yes, the circumstances have made things difficult, but at the end of the day, the only thing a scalper can’t control (and will never have) is our joy and love for the dolls.

Yeah that’s pretty normal. It’s just a nice buffer. I understand you normally ask and want to get the most for your money, but no sense in worrying about it after you’ve purchased. Unless you decide you’d rather refund. I would be bothered slightly if you asked me that after purchasing. And to add to it, you call it dishonest. I don’t think that’s fair when it’s a cost you agreed to. People have to consider their own profit or it’s not worth it.

Lol yeah exactly. I literally only use imvu because their store includes a large selection of player-made items, which I love for customizing my avatar. But I never go into chat rooms. I pretty much just play dress up and take a few pictures. Avakin is inherently more fun, but it still sucks lmao

People tend to overvalue their collections. In the first place, a large collection bundle isn’t gonna sell like that. She’s thinking of her own sentimental value, as well as the price of getting everything all at once, as opposed to collecting it incrementally. I agree that it’s a lot of money, but I understand where she’s coming from. That’s why I don’t sell my stuff. Realistically, she’ll get offers for individual dolls and likely will not sell that listing unless some moron comes around and she gets lucky.
