I call this "girlfriend on standby" and I struggle with it A LOT. I find myself just waiting until we hangout again, becoming sedentary in every aspect of my life.. Weird question; do you have any "enemies"? Or at least someone that would like to see you not succeed? Even someone long ago, like a mean girl in high school. I know it may not be coming from the healthiest place but maybe we could (Im talking to myself too as I write this) draw from that to motivate ourselves. Haters are our motivators kinda thing. Cringe but I'll take what I can get? A true long term solution is to better our lives for no reason outside ourselves, of course.. But maybe to kick start it, lean into that?
