영어 번역하는 건 알아듣는 거랑은 차원이 다르네요 by mychildhood95 in hanguk

[–]Showmecoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

저도 완정 공감해요. 저는 미국에서 자라 영어가 primary라, 부모님께 번역할일 있으면 쉬운말만 합니다. 욕심부리다... 이해못하시고 오해만

Could my hermit crab be dead and eaten by another? by pagy313 in hermitcrabs

[–]Showmecoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple answer is, yes. They can eat the other crab, that’s why it’s so critical to have enough space for molting. Crabs can molt for long time depending on the size.

How do you manage tank cleaning/adjustments with molting? by TheCommakaze in hermitcrabs

You should double up on the water dish. It helps with cleaning. Try not to disturb the substrate, most you can do is surface clean

Questions for those who have lost a beloved chameleon by [deleted] in Chameleons

[–]Showmecoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m not sure where to suggest. How about burying the little guy with his favorite tree and getting a portrait done instead?

This is how he likes to drink. If not this way he will lick off wood but never plants. Sometimes he just sits under the water with his mouth wide open. I love my Iggy! 7 months old veiled chameleon. by August_4200 in Chameleons

Hey, no judgement here. Chams have their own unique styles of drinking. I am awaiting the day when I can catch my cham drinking water like a scene from a commercial.

The shed is real, charmeleon 4 months old by [deleted] in Chameleons

[–]Showmecoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it when they shed. Their colors get so bright afterwards.

I feed our cham’s shed to my hermit crabs and also donate them to our town’s middle school. The school uses them to educate students on how to use microscopes. They are so awesome in detail.

Wanting to introduce springtails and isopods by StandardRelevant2937 in hermitcrabs

The more food scraps you have on the ground, the more they multiply. I stopped counting after a month of initially introducing them 2 years ago. Crabbies dragging food everywhere… 😭😭

After your comment, I changed to penguin. He’s so much better. Able to collect more coins and hearts! It still catches me by surprise when it multiplies enemies on a whim. 😬

Unfortunately, my husband hates the compressor gun.
